Keep Up to Date On Everything ACSHA
Members,
I had originally tried to continue the prospect of running NRA courses through the Club, at lower cost to Club Members. Recent changes to the NRA certification structure will make meeting the minimum qualifications for Counselor and Instructor almost impossible to attain within the 2025 year time-frame.
Instead, through the graces of a member that has extensive current NRA certifications already, it will be more efficient and cost-effective to run NRA courses through this individual, rather than spend a year trying to get the minimum quals and certifications needed.
Individuals who are interested in obtaining the Counselor and Instructor certifications can go through this process as individuals at their convenience.
To start this process, the ACSHA will offer an NRA Range Safety Officer Class on May 10th, 2025. Members can take the class at a reduced rate of $60.00, while non-members can do so at $100.00.
Below is a link to the NRA Range Safety Officer Program, for more information. The class is a full 8-hour day, bring your own lunch and drinks, and is mostly classroom instruction. No live fire is required.
How to Register, online payment and confirmation for the class can be found at the below link.
