ACHSA Members,

I have some sad news to share.  Member Doug Eyer (or Doc Eyer, as most of us called him) passed away at his home on December 3rd.  As I understand he was surrounded by family, and Member John Eyler was able to see him briefly the day before.

Here is the link to his obituary. https://www.littlesfh.com/obituary/DrDouglas-Eyer

One of my fondest memories with Doc was when we would have the Revolver Only shoots.  He road his Motorcycle and I think he brought 6 revolvers with him.  Pulling guns and ammo out of both saddlebags.  And we always ended up trying to shoot the smallest guns at 100 yards to see who could ring steel with the guns that clearly weren't meant for that distance.

FROM THE OBITUARY: Visitation will be held at the Littles Funeral Home, 34 Maple Ave, Littlestown Pa on Thursday December 5 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. Visitation to be held at St James Lutheran Church, 109 York St, Gettysburg, PA on Friday, December 6 at 9:00 AM with services to be held following at 10:00 AM.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Adams Cancer Center Patient Help Fund, 40 V-Twin Drive, Gettysburg, Pa or to the Adams [County] Sport Handgunners Association, 1540 Upper Bermudian Rd, Gardners PA 17324. Internment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

If anyone would like to share a memory of Doc on Facebook, please do and tag the gun club page so others can share in the memories.

Doc, you will be missed.
